Eric Pope

Eric Pope is a Senior Community Developer at Ubisoft Montreal, currently working on For Honor. He hosts the team’s weekly “Warrior’s Den” devstream, which has become a very popular and crucial communication tool for maintaining For Honor’s close relationship with its community. In his past life he spent years repping music games such as Rock Band at Harmonix in Boston.

Julian Maroda

Julian Maroda is co-founder, CEO and Minister of Creation at Norsfell, a Montreal-based game studio. This communication and game design graduate, born in Brussels, Belgium, specializes in the creative direction of video games and has contributed to the launch of more than 25 titles on all platforms. As president of Norsfell, he manages the strategic vision and operations of the company. Founded in 2013, Norsfell counts 10 employees and markets games for mobile, PC and console that have been downloaded more than 1 million times and have won numerous awards, including a prestigious nomination at Gamescom 2016 and a first place at the 2017 Ubisoft Indie Series contest. Julian regularly gives his time to exchange with others, be it at MIGS, the IGDA, Comiccon or even HEC Montreal. He also played a role in the cult action movie, Kung Fury, which premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

Pascal Nataf

As president and CEO of Affordance Studio, Pascal spends most of his time working on business development as well as game design. He’s active in the field video games as a co-founder for La Guilde, one of the first ever co-ops for indie game studios with over 105 member companies. He also gives Masters-level courses at the Université de Montréal in game design.

Cofondateur et directeur technique de la compagnie depuis sa fondation, Benoit est dédié au développement des innovations technologiques exclusives à Turbulent. Avec plus de 15 ans d’expérience en développement et architecture Web, il est réputé pour relever les défis techniques les plus ardus. Son approche modulaire a récemment guidé les projets de Cloud Imperium Games – Star Citizen, Ma Zone CEC, Cortège, R6Fix et TV5. Il est à la base du développement des logiciels de Turbulent depuis ses débuts, et dirige la stratégie technologique de l’entreprise.

Patrice Desilets

With a background in literature and cinema, Patrice now has over 21 years of game design under the belt. He his mostly known for his work on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and as the creative director behind the global success franchise Assassin’s Creed. Patrice cofounded Panache Digital Games in 2014, an indie game studio located in the heart of Montreal, were he now leads a talented team of developers. The studio is presently working on its first title Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey.
